Financial Controller Position | Brisbane CBD Based | $200,000 + SuperYour new company
Join a large, complex organisation where finance plays a critical role in supporting business performance, governance and strategic decision-making. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership position, overseeing a developing finance team, managing multiple stakeholder relationships, and driving ongoing improvements across financial reporting, controls and processes within a dynamic and evolving environment.

Your new role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and audit processes across a complex multi-entity environment, partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing key financial outcomes.
• Develop, mentor and build capability within the finance team, fostering strong commercial understanding and technical expertise.
• Partner with local and international stakeholders, managing complex reporting requirements, intercompany reconciliations and treasury activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial controls, reporting quality, processes and management commentary to support better business decision-making.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

• CA/CPA qualified finance leader with proven Financial Controller or Finance Manager experience within a large, complex corporate environment.
• Strong technical accounting capabilities across financial reporting, audits, controls, treasury, compliance and multi-entity reconciliations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop accounting teams while driving process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across finance, operations and external parties while navigating complex reporting requirements.
